Clarise Lyon, Founder and Director of Building Blocks
I am a Certified Educator
with an M.A. in Teaching. As a Teacher for more than ten years at the elementary level and Private Tutor for
students of all ages, I have worked with many students at the cognitive processing level and academic
skills level. My goal is to continue working with students who struggle in reading and writing. Throughout my years
of training and experience in the classroom and as a private tutor, I have come to realize that in order to unlock
a learner's full potential, it is essential to strengthen the underlying cognitive skills that are the building blocks of
academic learning.

Everyone Is Unique We all learn differently-- therefore, I believe that one single program
