Founder and Educational Therapy Provider
Clarise Lyon, M.A.
Clarise C. Lyon received her Masters Degree in Teaching. She has been an educator for over 10 years and has her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in Kindergarten Through Eighth Grade. She was awarded a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Buffalo in 1988. After receiving her degree, she worked with adults with special needs in a community based setting. She has worked with students in the private and public schools for the past 14 years. She also trained in programs that enable her to provide cognitive and sensory-motor integration therapy into her practice while working with students. Currently, she is practicing educational therapy and private tutoring at Lyon Learning Center. She is skilled at using diagnostic testing to design and implement therapeutic programs to enhance the learning for each of her students.
Parent and Community Educational Coordinator
Heather Womack, M.S
Heather L. Womack received her Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in children and families from Domican University in San Rafael. She has worked with children, age 3 to 18, with a wide variety of presenting issues for the past 14 years, including those with developmental, cognitive, and behavioral challenges. She has worked as a supervisor and consultant in these areas during this time, and has expertise in issues of impulse control, power dynamics, trauma, ADHD, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Major Depression. In addition, she utilizes specialized skills to enhance parent child relationships and improve parenting, and has been certified by UC Davis in PCIT. She comes to Lyon Learning Center because of a passion for the whole child. By shoring up a child's self-concept, there is a foundation for greater learning which inevitably leads to academic and social success.
Office Coordinator
Melissa Jaworski
Melissa Jaworski is our Office Coordinator. She lives with her husband and 3 children and in the Bay Area. She is passionate about watching the children at Lyon Learning Center grow and succeed through our different learning processes. She handles the scheduling, invoicing and many other tasks that help keep Lyon Learning Center running smoothly. If you have any questions or need to make a change to your schedule she’s your go to person. We are happy to have Melissa as part of our team!
